The concept behind Mindful Food Movement is about our connection with food, the mind, and our bodies. Everyone has a relationship with food, and our brain let us know when we are hungry, and often signals when certain foods don’t agree with us. We wish to share our expertise and knowledge to help others eat healthy, tune into the response they are getting to certain wrong foods, and to heal the body to recovery by giving it what it needs. A healthy mind leads to a healthy life and is affected by what we put into the body.
We have become more mindful of the strain on the food chain not meeting human demands, and the effect this has on the environment. Today there is a movement of people turning to vegetarian, vegan or flexitariandietsto tie in with health, environmental factors, ethical values, but we all share the same goal to extend our happy and healthy lives.
