Jody Eddy

Jody Eddy is a James Beard nominated, IACP award winning cookbook author, journalist, chef and television producer. She is a graduate of the University of Minnesota and The Institute of Culinary Education in Manhattan. She’s cooked at the Michelin three-starred restaurants Jean-Georges and The Fat Duck and was the Executive Editor of Art Culinaire Magazine. She has written for The Los Angeles Times, VICE, The Wall Street Journal, Saveur, Travel+Leisure, and Food & Wine, among others. She has written seven cookbooks including her most recent, Chaat, profiling the street food of India. Her next book, profiling the culinary traditions of monasteries, mosques, synagogues and temples throughout the world will be published by W.W. Norton in 2022. She has travelled to Scandinavia dozens of times and was inspired to write her book The Hygge Life because she was moved by the way Scandinavians embrace the spirit of happiness and solidarity in every facet of their lives. She is currently producing a television show for a major network.
